This aluminum panel sign measures 12x12, has rounded corners, mounting holes in each corner and are coated with an industrial strength UV inhibitor for added longevity.
This surface mount sign printed in color on a white background is UV, chemical, abrasion and moisture resistant. Sign colors, symbols, and panel layouts conform to NFPA 704, ANSI Z535.1, ANSI Z535.2, and ANSI C95.2-2007 standards.

NFPA 704: Standard System for the Identification of the Hazards of Materials for Emergency Response" is a standard maintained by the U.S.-based National Fire Protection Association. First "tentatively adopted as a guide" in 1960, and revised several times since then, it defines the colloquial "fire diamond" used by emergency personnel to quickly and easily identify the risks posed by hazardous materials. This helps determine what, if any, special equipment should be used, procedures followed, or precautions taken during the initial stages of an emergency response.

Symbolism
The four divisions are color-coded:

BLUE indicating level of health hazard

RED indicating flammability

YELLOW instability/reactivity

WHITE containing special codes for unique hazards.

Each of health, flammability and instability/reactivity is rated on a scale from 0 (no hazard) to 4 (severe risk).

Sign Construction:
Sign blanks are industrial grade Aluminum with white/yellow/grey enamel baked base coat.
Signs are screen printed with UV stable inks.
Industrial UV inhibitor clear coat is applied full bleed to prevent fading and increase longevity.
Signs are supplied with rounded corners and 4 mounting holes.
All signs are shipped with chipboard spacers interleaved to prevent scratching.
Signs have been designed for the following applications: fence, wall or any flat surface mounting.
3 inch custom vinyl numbers and symbols are adhered to the sign in the corresponding color coded box.
